Is this a diagnosis?
No. These kits are for self-monitoring at home. They help you track your numbers over time and decide when to speak to your GP — they don't replace clinical testing or medical advice.
How accurate are the readings?
The devices use dry-chemistry test cards and are UKCA/CE marked for the UK market. As with any home test, accuracy depends on following the steps — clean sample, correct drop size and in-date cards.
What's the difference between the two kits?
The 6-in-1 is a full lipid panel (total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides, TC/HDL ratio and atherogenic index). The 3-in-1 measures cholesterol, glucose and uric acid — better if you're also watching blood sugar or gout.
How often will I need new test cards?
Each pack contains test cards for repeat use — one card per test. Most people test weekly or fortnightly, so keep a spare pack in so you're never caught short.
